Students are referred to Switzer Learning Center from their home school district after their IEP team has determined that public schools can no longer can meet the student’s needs. Federal and state law mandates that a free and appropriate public education be available to all children at no cost to parents.

In some instances, parents elect to send their children to Switzer Learning Center as a private pay student. In these instances, an evaluation and determination of need for services is conducted at Switzer Learning Center. For more information about private pay options, click here.
