WASC Accreditation

Switzer Learning Center is excited to announce that it has been granted accreditation status for Grades 5-12 by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). With the recent addition of Elementary grades K-4 to its programs, accreditation for those grades is anticipated this spring.

This announcement follows the completion of a detailed report and an initial visit from fellow educators, who evaluated the school's program in relation to student learning and well-being based on WASC criteria. The report highlighted the school's strengths and identified areas for continuous improvement. This marks a crucial first step in Switzer Learning Center's ongoing enhancement, involving all stakeholders in thoroughly analyzing its programs through the self-study and visit process.
