Yes! The Switzer Learning Center is a California State certified nonpublic school. All teaching staff are licensed and/or credentialed as required by the California Department of Education.

This is addressed on an individual basis in the context of: a therapeutic school culture, a point/level campus-wide behavior incentive system, formally trained staff, and certification in ABA-based behavior intervention strategies. All students are supported by a licensed mental and behavioral health staff member.

Homework is assigned in at least two academic subjects Monday through Thursday. No homework assignments are issued on Fridays.

This is individualized in the context of your child’s IEP and also within the context of the California core curriculum. Performance measurements will be shared with parents/caregivers on a consistent and regular basis.

This depends upon your child’s progress at Switzer Learning Center including: regular attendance, behavior, academic progress, and social involvement.
